- The new season is underway. Provisional playing dates are:
May: 5, 12 and 19
June: 9, 16 and 30
July: 14 and 28
Aug: 4, 11 and 25
Sept: 8 (finals night)
BOULES CANCELLED - 30/06
We are sorry to inform you that the round of games scheduled for today, Tuesday the 30th of June, have been cancelled. This is due to one of the organisers being injured. We are very sorry for the short notice, and will be in touch soon to reschedule tonights games.
Petanque or Boules is a sociable game requiring a heady mixture of skill, luck, humour and occasionally a drop or two of pastis. It is a French game, and regrettably they're still better than us at it. But we're working on that...
The league meets every other Tuesday in the summer at Queen Square in Bath. All are welcome to join - please contact me for more details. The league starts in early May and runs throughout the summer, finishing with the extravaganza of finals night in early September.
