2009 is our seventh season, and we are once again fortunate to have Queen Square as our playing venue and are grateful to BANES Parks Dept for allowing this privilege. Please respect the environment and try to leave it as rubbish-free as possible.

In the information section of this website are The Rules of Play. Please try to have at least a working knowledge of these so that play goes as smoothly as possible. If you are new to the sport, you will soon get to know the basic techniques and tactics as you play.

The first meeting is scheduled for Tues 5th May and thereafter we will play on alternate Tuesdays until finals night in early September. This should give us plenty of time to get through the necessary matches, and in the event of us being up to date with the programme, we may be able to fit in a session of friendly games.

Teams should try to arrive by 5.45 pm in order to register for a 6pm start. Finish time should be 8.30 to 9.

We will endeavour to play regardless of the weather conditions, but if it gets really miserable play may have to be postponed or abandoned.
